Loving our Little Boy

Brynn just loves being a big sister. Although, Brody is now pulling her hair, and Brynn can get him to giggle and jabber!

It is beautiful winter day here in Iowa! It is too bad we have kids sick at home. Sore throats, fever, headaches, congestion and some coughing! We are praying Brody can breeze through this one, we do not need him to get rsv!

Hats and more Hats!!

Last week I asked for donations of Hats for Liberia! Well, needless to say, over 300 hats! Mark is wondering how in the world we will get these all there! I most likely will repack, since "Bertha" the suitcase is too heavy. I have received 2 bags of fun stuff for the orphanage! Thank You so much! We have received some cash donations also.

Yesterday we had an anwered prayer when we read we only have to be in Liberia for 5 days now! Whew, not 10 days like we thought! Mark & I are so thankful for that! Leaving the 4 kids at home, is going to be hard on some of the kids and not to mention Mark and myself! I think Grandpa and Grandma will be relieved also! We are waiting for word to buy the tickets yet! Ugh! It will be in the next 3 weeks. There is some Embassy appointments that are taking place in Liberia!

So, I sent Mark to the Black Hills to go snowmobiling with his brother and nephew! I talked to Mark yesterday afternoon, it was 17 degrees, and here it was -7! Burr, I am sick of the cold!

We have been so blessed on this journey of adoption, and we praise and thank God daily for the direction He has been leading us!

Brynn had a Polar Express Day at school today and had to wear her jammies! Thank goodness I have a couple pairs of tights to wear under her pants! We bought Bruno (Benjamin's dog) a coat for the cold weather, which he kind of likes to wear. (Strange Dog)

Had a JR and SR High School concert tonight! It was not nice coming home with the blowing
snow, the visibility was awful! So thankful for our warm house!

Guess what we seen for the first time tonight! A DVD of a beautiful little boy who lives in an orphanage in Liberia! God hand picked this sweet little boy to be a part of our family! I can't wait to show my Parents and my Sisters! Thank You Pastor Aaron and Nick!
We got to see where the children sleep and interview with Mother Wleh, and Marcus walking for a quick second, and even a smile! God is so GOOD!

Tomorrow is a shortened day before the Christmas Break, whoo hoo out 40 minutes early! Why in the world don't they keep the children all day or let them out early, like 11:30?? Guess that is why I am not in the education department!
