With School Vacation starting this week, I thought I would mix up our design on our family blog.

If you wonder what we do the first month of school vacation, it is baseball! I love it! The only problem I have with it is, dealing with 3 schedules! It is so much fun, seeing your kids doing what they love! Sitting in a lawn chair with a diet coke, cheering them on!! It has been a tough couple of weeks here. The unknowns are just weighing on us as a family. In January we let our hearts go, thinking of what it would be like to have Marcus home with us. Thinking of a time frame, to not having one at all is awful! Now, the uncertainty is hard to get a grip on if this is really going to continue! What is God telling us? What does God want us to do?

I received this great email this morning, there family is also waiting for a phone call. We are not the only ones! Thought I would share it with you!

God doesn't give you the people you want,

He gives you the people you NEED -

To help you, to hurt you, to leave you,

to love you and to make you into the person you were meant to be.

Dear God:

The lady reading this is beautiful, classy and strong, and she is special.

Help her live her life to the fullest.

Please promote her and cause her to excel above her expectations.

Help her shine in the darkest places where it is impossible to love.

Protect her at all times, lift her up when she needs you the most,

and let her know when she walks with you,

She will always be safe.
