Florida
Brody just loved being outside, walking, rolling down the small little ditch. He walked up and down it thinking he was so cool, and he was so cute!!
This little boy, received lots of love and needless to say, got more spoiled!!
Will try to post some pictures soon of the wedding! :)
This picture was taken before wedding rehearsal. Here is Mark, Mark's Dad, Kinzie the Bride, her Dad Marlin who is Mark's Brother and our Pastor who flew down to marry Kinzie and Tyson!!

Picture Perfect
Our Family just got back from Vacation with Mark's Family! Grandpa arranges the vacation and makes all the arrangements. This year we went later, and the college girls where unable to go, and Mark's brother and family could not go. It was nice to get away to warmer weather, but oh did I miss the ones who could not come! :(

Here are a few pictures from the week!

God is amazing! We have always known that during our adoption of Marcus, that His hand has been guiding, protecting and giving us peace as we wait.
Here is Joni with Marcus! Joni's Blog is -> over on the blog list! Joni lives a few miles from Marcus's Orphanage! She works with Samaritan's Purse and grew up in Sioux County! What a small world!! Joni had a fantastic letter, telling us all about Marcus, his friends, and Mother Wleh! We are so excited for her to go back and visit, and play soccor with Marcus and his friends!
His first real smile we have seen!!!

Joni showing him the photo book!
Marcus said "Ma and Pa there"! Praise God!!!

As far as an update of how much longer, or when Marcus will come home. We have no clue! Our Agency has not been approved, and Liberia is accepting 12 Agencies. We know Liberia is starting to process those adoptions that where in the process, and had decrees. We are praying that we have a decree but where told most likely not.
Our Agency is trying to find out if we can proceed, or have to wait for the Agencies that are accepted!
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7
We are so thankful for Joni, her willingness to go serve in another country, and to go and Bless us and the children in the Orphanage! Praise God!

Keeping Busy!
Thanks again for checking in on us! Mark thinks I am crazy to write anything on here, especially when we have nothing to write on Marcus. I tell him it feels good to type here, and tell others what our specific prayer requests are, and for my family/friends to see what has been happening in our lives!
These last few weeks, we have been finding ways to keep our minds off this adoption process. Don't get me wrong, our hearts are filled with love for Marcus, but this waiting does get to us! The not knowing is probably the hardest part!
Mark and I went on a quick weekend away with his brother and "sister"! (The "in-law" does not exist to me"!) We had a ball, ate too much, seen "The Price is Right" LasVegas style...The musical "Menopause", what a hoot!
"Look Laura, it is me and Barry!"Outside of our hotel was Soul Weekend. The music was everything to rap to gospel! Vender's where selling all sorts of food! Had some great pound cake! I even had to the chance to buy some African clothing for when we go to Liberia! It is beautiful! This gentleman was from New York and has a clothing line! He was from Senegal, which I had to look up when we got home! I should find his business card and post it, if any of you would like to see his line!
Bradyn turned 11 on the 26th, the day we took off for the Black Hills. We had planned to leave at noon, due to rain, ice and snow, we left at 8:30am! We have had this trip planned for months, thinking we would take our little guy along, but hopefully next year!! Last year we started this tradition with Marlin & Paula and their Family. We stayed at a hotel last year and this year we rented a house together!
The house we all rented! It was so nice! We will try to stay there again!
When we finally drove out of the snow and ice, we realized we could not drive to our place we rented! We had to load our stuff on the back of the snowmobiles, with sleds behind them!

On the way to our house we rented this is what we saw! This is only a few, times there where 15- 20 deer! The location was spectacular! It reminds us of God's beauty all around the world!
Driving the sleds with all our supplies to our house we rented!Sledding down the driveway!
Getting ready for a day on the snowmobile!
Brynn was such a trooper, we went for 5 hours the 1st day, which it only got up to 13 degrees outside! Burrr!
The next 2 days we put over 175 miles on the sleds! The weather was absolutely perfect! What fun! We all did more giggling, and where just amazed at how beautiful and peaceful it is in the mountains!
Some of the group manage to climb up to Custer's Peak! The pictures where just breathtaking!
Benjamin enjoying the sunshine!->

It was so good for me (us) to get away and take in family time!
Now it is good to get in the swing of things at home again!! I really am starting feel sad for wanting our little boy home! I know I have to give it to God! I know this is all God's plan, God's timing, yet I still ache for our little boy! I never dreamt that it would take this long! I sympathize with other parents/families who wait like us!! I can now relate, and pray some more!
Tomorrow I am going to help my sister get some wedding plans made! :)
This weekend we are meeting Julie's future Family! :) I am so thankful God has brought Jason into her life, she is so happy!!
Beau has a Show Choir competition Saturday am! Good Luck BHS!!
This morning this devotion hit home! It is going on the fridge door!!http://proverbs31devotions.blogspot.com/

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Bummed!
Good Snowy Evening!
Today has been a day of checking the emails to see if we should book our airline tickets. I scrambled to get the appropriate paper work in a file, more paper work to write up, I 874, I600, find our tax paper from the last 3 years, I171 approval, I600A approval, and probably more that I am not thinking of. I am ready to get Marcus home to be able to spend time playing with the kids and not trying to read and figure out all the tricky questions!
I hope I got the soup supper pretty much ready to give to a good friend to put it all together for the music booster soup supper coming up! Thanks J!! I just hope and pray it all works out!
So I have been sitting in this chair for most of the day! Ugh!
Finally the email came back around 5:00, that Trokon's car has some problems, so he didn't get some stuff done, and we need to get one big thing done, but we can book our airline tickets for Tuesday. Now do you go and maybe he will get the signature he needs done before Wednesday, but if the car is not working, how do you managed to get to the orphanage to get that paper work done? We need to know that the paper work is finished and the Liberian government just needs us to finish. I know this is all in God's timing. We decided if we go this Tuesday we could swing it taking Beau along. Now we most likely will push it back 1 week, and it would be too close for Beau to be gone from show choir with contests in the next coming week. I feel so bad for Beau. He desperately wants to go along, but we can not do it to his Show Choir! Beau is ready to sit 20 plus hours of detention to be able to go with us to Liberia! We will leave it in God's hands and see what He has in store for us.
Last night I went to Katelyn's Fund support group! What a blessing to be able to spend time with a wonderful bunch of Parents who want to be able to make a difference in children's lives. A Dr, and an adoptive Mom who is an RN talked about medical issues. Very helpful! At the end of the meeting, Sheila and others had a word of prayer for Marcus and our family, as we begin to prepare to travel to Liberia! God is so good!
Here are some fun pictures from our vacation!
Brynn and Piglet
Bradyn a bit nervous for Splash Mountain!
Had a bit of fun, picking face painting with the kids! Who says a parent can't be a kid at Magic Kingdom!!
Cinderella's Castle at sun down!
