Happy 16th Birthday Benjamin!

Wow, another driver in the family!  Benjamin is 16 and this is what he is buying!!
Fortunately he works for his Grandpa/Uncle and Dad,
pouring cement now is going to be more of a priority because it will go into car payments!!

Hopefully riding go-carts will come in handy for safety not for racing!

Here we are the fun side of Benjamin with Leah!!

Happy Birthday Benjamin, we love you lots!

I can hardly believe a year ago, we where down in Mississippi!
A year ago we met a courageous young lady!

A year ago, we felt the coast hot, humid air.

A year ago..we slept in the hotel!

A year has passed, and we are so thankful for our little brown eyes. Who wakes up waves his hand bye, bye and points to the outside. Brody loves going outside and riding the 4 wheeler!!

 with all those you love!!
Love You Lots!

Marcus the other day with Joni!

Nikelle and Marcus!

While we wait for something, wait for anything we praise God for the wonderful blessings He has brought to Marcus!!  He has been blessed with visitors!  Special people over the past 4 years who have made time to go and spend time with this little boy we have come to love!!  Nikelle, our hearts swell with joy to know you spent time with Marcus, and of course Joni, who has become to important to Marcus!! I can not imagine the joy that happens when someone pops in to visit!!! (with goodies for everyone, and pictures of a family in another country, band aids, medications, and etc.) One picture we got back you can see older boys looking at the pictures....pictures of things they have probably never seen before!!
We continue to lift all those who continue to wait we are not alone. I know a very special family who also is celebrating birthdays at the end of the week, who have been waiting for 6 plus years. :(   Happy Birthday to Ronaldo and Julia in Guatemala! May God's love fill your little hearts with love, peace and comfort...and most of all the feeling deep inside that a family is doing everything possible to get you home!!! Please continue to pray for the governments all over, to give the children a chance at finding a forever family, and parents who will give the unconditional love every child deserves.
Many blessings to you all, and may God fill your hearts up with His love and peace!!

~Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. Romans 8:26~

Benjamin and Bradyn

The cutest little boys!

Until this little boy came home!

Brody...

February is a busy month of Birthday's!

Benjamin turned 15 on the 9th, and now Bradyn's birthday is Saturday!!
I am reminded daily of turning 13, and how he is going to be a teenager!
For Benjamin's birthday, he chose to go to Sioux Falls, and see a movie,
eat at Texas Roadhouse, and shopping for a pair of cowboy boots with
the money he has been saving and with birthday money, he was ready to pick out a pair!

Bradyn, has a list for his Bday, plus colored pictures he printed out on the computer!!
He has been telling me what I need to bake for "comet time", so he can celebrate with his class!

Brody has been up quite abit at night! Yawn! Last night was every 2 hours!! He hears us coming up to the crib, and he stops crying and starts smiling!! I know he is coming down with a cold, coughing, a bit of a runny nose and sneezing! Tomorrow night will be our last home study visit, and we can finalize in April!! It is exciting to see how much he has grown, and how God has blessed our Family!
Well, time to rock a bye!!

Please continue to pray for Sondra, her 4 sons and husband!!
Praying for some family's who are over in ET, picking their precious daughter up!

Many Blessings to you all!

Brynn and Bradyn getting on the bus!

Beau and Benjamin leaving together!

To complete my morning to make it even more exciting!! Joni had a chance to go bring Marcus his Birthday wishes from his American Family!! Could this boy be any cuter!!!
How can you describe or even put in words the blessing Joni is to our family but to see Marcus' smile, God is so amazing! Thank YOU God for blessing us with Joni!! The pictures she sent to our family, is unbelievable, and to know, with the Lord's help, Marcus will be home, and to think, he will have a baby brother to come home to!
"Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be."
Matthew 6:21

"I thank my God every time I remember you." Philippians 1:3

I booked my flight to Jackson, MS yesterday! I will fly out next Wednesday and Lord willing(which I seen on the schedule myself)Baby B will be born on Thursday am!! Mark will than drive out after Beau's football game Friday night! I feel bad for missing Beau's first football game being a SR, but holding his baby brother will be worth it!
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him…" Proverbs 3:5
Thanks again for all the prayers! Today I am so thankful for the 4 great kids we have been blessed with! Than to see how great Marcus is doing, and to think God has a little baby planned out in MS! God is good!!!
I am so excited to think about the possibility of having a house full of boys!! Brynn is has realized, "this is just a boys life in our house, Mom!" She is so excited to e a big sister! Lord willing...

Happy 7th Birthday Brynn!!

It is not easy being the only girl in the family! You bring so much sparkle in our home! Need it be lip gloss, finger nail polish, glitter, glue, pink, dolls and more dolls, stuffed animals, polly pockets and screaming at the top of your lungs. We love you and all the glitz and glamour you bless us with!

You are a precious gift from above, and we thank God for You! Not many little girls can say they have so many big brothers, and love you so much!

Happy 17th Birthday!

Happy 17th Birthday to Beau!!

We are so proud of you and the great choices you have made in your 17 years!

After church we headed to the Olive Garden! My parents, Julie and Jason came! It was nice not trying to quick make lunch after church! It was a nice day to celebrate. Although, I have to admit, when the kids are younger, it is so exciting!

I just got done, finishing up paper work to refile for an extension of our I-600A's. I am very thankful, this filing does not cost anything! Whew!
I read another blog, that 3 family's have traveled to Liberia and returned home, with their children! I am not getting to excited, but just continuing to pray that God will move mountains and the papers to be able to bring home M!!

I am praising God for travel arrangements for Dawn & Rod, who are going to Guatemala to have an Empathy Study!! It has been over 4 years and 10 months of waiting to bring home R & J!! I admire and pray for this family's for years! I encourage you all to pray that the doors will move open, and that these 2 beautiful children can soon come home to a family and siblings waiting! You can follow their journey!

The crazy part is, Dawn & Rod's daughter is engaged to our nephew!

Birthday Boy Benjamin!

I can hardly believe Benjamin will be 14 tomorrow! Our feisty, flirty, fun loving boy is going to be able to get a drivers permit! Yesterday we had Mark's family come for dinner after church! The house was a buzzing with 31 people/children running all over. I made pork loin, baked beans, cheesy potatoes, bought some tea rolls and birthday cake! It was wonderful to have salads brought in, and some bars for snooping! I need to bake a birthday cake today! We will go out for supper with Grandpa Kenny & Grandma Linda and see which of my sisters and their family's can attend! Benjamin was a big boy, no wonder I was so miserable! He weighed 9 lbs, 3 oz!
He was so bruised when he entered the world! I did not put a new born picture of Benjamin, once his bruising went away, he was just a chubby, blue eyed, boy!
Here is Benjamin and Beau are with my Grandparents.
Grpa & Grma we so happy we gave Benjamin a good Biblical name!

Benjamin and Friends from Church

With all this snow, I have learned that boys are so different than girls! Whew, snow days Ms. Brynn makes a list of activities to do! Learning to spell words is so much fun to see her sounds out words! Needless to say, she writes everything down! The boys never made a list!
Here is Brynn having fun after a cheerleading clinic! (She has the pep club shirt on!
Brynn loves it when her brothers have friends over. Brynn has 3 new brother, with Beau's buddies, Dallas, Gabe and Justin come over, she just loves to make things for them, and of course she needs to tell them good night also! Mark and I were talking about Beau and college, oh she got upset and said, "please stop talking about that, it makes me so sad!" Oh she loves her brothers!
Beau performing with his Show Choir!

Our back yard is filling up with snow!! The snow is level to our pool! Oh the days of warm! The Farmers Almanac predicts 40 additional inches of snow this month! Today the wind is suppose to whip up! So far, it is gorgeous outside, sun shining, at clean white snow, but cold!

Rumor has it, Liberia is/might be processing some adoptions. Of course, the man now working on our case is still looking for the man who was on our case. (Please pray that his gets done asap!)It is hard not to let your mind wander! Than you read a devotional and are reassured this is in God's hands! Yes, I am scared that the fear of unknown, what if we are not able to continue with this brown eyed little boy we have accepted as our son for the past 20 months? It is so hard not to keep a chin up and keep positive, but we need to be open minded also.
"'Come,' he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus." Matthew 14:29
We have faith that God will continue to walk with us no matter the out come. I just wish we had answers. It seems we pray the same thing over and over again. You see such miraculous stories of the precious children of Haiti being united with their forever families. God has been so faithful to these children/family's. God has been faithful to us also. To see the joy and read how God worked miracles for so many wonderful christian family's, to be sitting in the embassy in Haiti, sleeping on mats, talking to officials who tell you what you want to hear, than finally being on American soil, and being in your home with the entire family! Brings tears my eyes, and know God is here and in Liberia! M's needs are being met, right now! Which is an answered prayer! We will just continue to keep praying for God's peace, patience and protection for little M in Liberia! Wow, God is good, we can see that in the newest pictures, and having Joni part of M's life!
If you get a chance, read this blog, this lady's faith, has challenged me, and encouraged my faith! God Bless this Family and the little boy who is home from Haiti! Don't know this family, but what a wonderful reminder, of God's love for all of us, and how prayers are answered!

Have a wonderful week!
