A Musical Week!

It has been a week of singing, trumpeting and the drums!
Son#1 is in Show Choir, last week they performed at a college and received #1 ratings! The Choir has a terrific choir instructor!
They sang songs from Van Halen to Steven Curtis Chapman. It is so fun to watch them sing and dance! Tuesday the Jazz Band played at another college, the Band took 1st and Son#1 got an Outstanding Solo Award! Where did this young man get his talents!?
Today Son#2 had a solo contest on the drums! He got a 1! A blue ribbon! He was suppose to play with another classmate, unfortunately he was sick, so he had to play with his band teacher!
Princess had her dance today, and is looking forward to her recital. Too bad it is 2 months away yet.
As far as the Adoption, still waiting on the finger prints. I figure it out we are stuck in between 1st and 2nd base! We are ready to be rounding 2nd!
We also want to remember a Family in our town who just lost a Husband, Brother-In-Law and Son-In-Law! This young Man has fought a courageous fight against Aplastic Anemia! He and his Family has shown Christ's Love in the past months!
Have a terrific Friday, sounds like the weather is shaping up!
