Last night Benjamin had his 1st 8th grade football game! I wanted to post pictures of Benjamin,
he looks so cute and big in his uniform! Well, I ran late and never got the team picture :(, but during the game-which I never seem to find Benjamin- a team mate of Benjamin was hurt and the ambulance came to take him to the hospital. This is the picture I took. It has nothing to do with the score, nothing to do with who is the better team, it shows we all serve the same God and how we can pray to Him where ever we are! Both teams came together and prayed together for the Jerrod! It was the coolest site I have seen in a while! Praise God! Jerrod is fine, after the game we stopped at the hospital and he is going to stiff and sore and out of football for the year!

"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you." Colossians 1:9a

James 5:16b, "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."

1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing."
Please pray this wonderful family in our church who was in a motorcycle accident. Fonda needs prayers for healing! You can follow:
Have a blessed day!

That pictures brought me to tears! Sometimes we need to be reminded that even though our children make poor decisions or choose to not listen. When it all come down to it.... this just shows how present God is in their lives and this community. Just so you know too... that evening a few of the Sx Cntr Fb players had put prayer request on their facebook pages... Awesome! Thanks for that great pic!

What a moving picture. It almost lets me say ... "Ok, Elijah can play football", but just the same I think I will try and keep him off the football field...Liberian football will be ok. :)
